This topic covers literature reviews, which can take the place of an essay, or be part of it. The topic looks at what a literature review is and is not, and goes on to consider why you may be asked to write one. It then looks at the aims of a literature review and the stages of writing one - understanding and managing the literature, and structuring and writing the literature review.
