This topic covers part of Stage 4 of the essay and report writing process – reading and notetaking. It looks first at different types of reading; how to overcome difficulties when you are reading; and reading systems. It then goes on to consider notetaking from reading and lectures; the different methods of notetaking you can use; and hints and tips for making useful notes.
